Focus

Focus

When we don’t take the time to plan our day we run the risk of being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of what needs to be done.

If we are not careful we could allow what appears to be urgent to keep us from doing what is important.

Every so often a small reminder is needed to keep us focused on what is important to us.

Sometimes you have to remove all of the noise going on around you and get really focused on what is the most important in the moment.

It’s astonishing how much we can accomplish in a single day when we’re focused and determined.

No matter how busy we are we still have to find a way to do the things we are the most passionate about.

Spending too much time stressing over the things we don’t have time for will keep us from focusing on accomplishing the things we can.

Instead of complaining about not having enough time to do everything focus your efforts on using what time you have to do what matters most.

When we focus too much time and attention on identifying the things we can’t do we run the risk of overlooking the things we can.

Putting too much focus on the things we have no control over will distract us and keep us from accomplishing what we are capable of.

Focusing our thoughts, time, and energy on the things we can do instead of the things we can’t is more productive and feels a lot better.

Every so often we get distracted from following our dreams. When that happens we must refocus and get back to working towards reaching them.

The smallest tasks can jump start us towards doing something great. However they can also distract us and keep us from moving forward.

Letting our self be distracted at the wrong time may cause us to stumble and fall. If so we must get up, refocus, and finish what we started.

To make progress we have to do our best to stay focused, not get distracted too much, and avoid changing direction unless we have to.

With a target to aim at we usually hit it or come very close. However, when there is no target we always seem to come up short.

Being only partially committed to something will reduce our chances of achieving the results we are hoping for.

The smallest margin can mean the difference between success and failure.

Choosing whether to focus on the difficulty of a challenging task or the opportunity it presents will impact how we feel about it.

Making the choice to be solution focused instead of problem focused is almost always better.

When faced with a problem the best thing to do is focus on coming up with a solution and staying optimistic.

We can focus on our past or on our future. One has the potential to hold us back and the other to keep us moving forward.

  1. Great post πŸ™‚ I find the best thing is to just dive into something instead of stressing the many things that need to be done!
